The first Prism Dance location was in West Hastings Street, across from The Harbour Centre. In 1989, Harbour Dance Centre moved to 927 Granville Street from its original West Hastings Street location. Harbour Dance reviews voice the positive experiences of most customers. The prevailing feeling is that this friendly, inclusive, and excellent dance studio is a remarkable place. While most customers are happy with how friendly and open the teachers and staff were to them, they also felt like they fit in quickly. The diversity of students – ranging from beginners to experienced dancers – and the well-paced, engaging group classes were aspects most customers appreciated. Each lesson felt like a social experience rather than an easygoing one. Even the founders and administrators aim to create a community of talented, enthusiastic students devoted to dance. The happy, nourishing, and ambitious dance environment is praised by few who offer courses in a variety of dance disciplines, including hip hop, ballet, jazz, and heels. Many students like that they had a variety of courses to pick from. Many appreciate how classes accommodate various levels of expertise, challenging them no matter their background. Some students recommend certain instructors and classes, and all describe a safe, supportive environment where everyone could be themselves. The increased confidence over time is from doing something you love with others passionately, making Harbour Dance a crucial second home for most customers. Many praise how convenient the student location is and how uncommon or special dance studios are in a populated city like Vancouver. Most clients advise potential students first to try a class at Harbour Dance. Better for many days, they are likely interested in meeting a genuine, professional, friendly, and talented group of individuals. Everyone has a dance home, according to most reviews. This place is for everyone!
