Since 1995, VREC has been offering consulting, sales, and installation services in renewable energy systems. VREC specializes in solar electricity, photovoltaics, solar hot water, and solar pool heating system design and installation. Our photovoltaic experts are some of the best in the Lower Mainland, and we have completed the first grid-tie photovoltaics installation in Vancouver, North Vancouver, and Mission. We have completed the first community-owned co-operatively-owned solar project in BC. VREC can provide complete turn-key solutions to your residential, commercial, and institutional renewable energy projects. VREC's customers benefit from our well-earned reputation for practical solutions and our ability to anticipate what future energy systems will provide. Our systems have generated over 120,000 kWh of renewable energy and saved over 38,000 tonnes of greenhouse gases from being emitted. We have also secured financing to reduce an additional 340,000 greenhouse gas emissions on behalf of our customers. VREC offers monitoring, repair, energy conservation, monitoring, and energy grants for co-op housing communities.
