SKAM School of Performing Arts

SKAM: Home of Good Natured Practical Jokers, founded in 1995, is a theatre company that creates innovative, entertaining theatre that is never boring. Theatre SKAM wants to stimulate good in the world while developing the careers of a broad range of artists, including many Victoria-based artists as well as emerging artists. We want to animate our community with live contemporary theatre, events, and performances that offer Victoria audiences—along with audiences on the road—varied, innovative, and surprising entertainment. Our goal at Theatre SKAM is to continue creating high-quality, challenging theatre for Victoria audiences and to begin experimenting with creating work on the road. We also believe that our company can establish a dialogue with other like-minded artists (both professional and non-professional) as well as local experts and community groups in order to accomplish our mission.
