We are still waiting for Shift to complete our installation 5 months into our 3 month project. Project management has been dismal from the day the deposit was made with absolutely no communication from Shift on details, progress, or timeline. It took them 2 months to apply for required permits and I…
Used GETS Energy (Victoria BC) to conduct the Pre- and Post-Assessment Test. However, the Post-assessment was conducted for only a couple…

Greg and Curtis were both exceptional in advice, information and help, and hats off the crew,…
While we ultimately did not go with Besolar for our project, the two companies were within $74 of each other. Greg is wealth of knowledge and great to talk with, Curtis was a true pleasure to work with and their entire team was helpful and knowledgeable. I would not hesitate to recommend Besolar to…

This calculator sizes a solar system from your electricity use. Your monthly bill, divided by the average British Columbia electricity price, gives your yearly use; Victoria's sunshine (1,090 kWh per kW of panels a year) then gives the system size that covers it, adjusted for roof direction and shade. The installed price is that size multiplied by the price per watt homeowners in British Columbia pay installers. Payback compares that price with what the panels save at British Columbia power prices, assuming prices rise 3% a year.
An estimate, not a quote. Roof size and pitch, shading, equipment, permits and the installer all change the final price; installers confirm it after a site visit.
