City Jewellers is a family-owned business that was founded in 1984. The original spot was a jewelry, clock, and watch repair shop. Our address is 1412 1/2 Main Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba. We quickly morphed into a jewelry sales store. Our offerings were timepieces and clocks besides other jewelry, including earrings, necklaces, and chains. It was a challenge when we realized that our Main Street location was insufficient to handle the size of our business. The year 1994 was a milestone for us when Portage Place Shopping Mall opened in Winnipeg. To this day, one of the two City Jewellers locations is at Portage Place. We were able to open another store in Garden City Shopping Center in May 2011. While we have seen ups and downs, our ethos is clear: City Jewellers and the staff all share a goal of quality workmanship, service, and paying attention to our customers when it comes to it. We have a clockmaker and a watchmaker who is certified and a certified Gemmologist (F.C.Gm.A.), available on premises for your appraisal needs. City Jewellers is well known for its custom design jewelry. All our clocks are always in stock, and we offer same-day service for minor repairs. If you need help maintaining your grandfather clock, we also offer home visits. If you need assistance in filing an insurance claim, contact us.
