I am passionate about interior design. I used to rearrange furniture on a weekly basis. Now, I like to rearrange other people's furniture, especially office furniture. Still, my background is more than just a passion. My mother was an Army officer's daughter, and I grew up in Army officer's quarters. In the late '70s, my family moved to Canada, where I was born. Benjamin, my partner, was born in Switzerland and moved to Canada in the early '80s. We both have had several different jobs. We both had different jobs before we decided to be entrepreneurs. I worked in bridal salons, human resources departments, and office interior departments and in offices. Having worked in many different environments and cultures has helped me develop my design sense and understanding of how spaces can feel. Benjamin is a seasoned businessman who is skilled at problem-solving, critical thinking, and streamlining operations. His joinery company, Constructcal, was profitable for him before he sold it and has left him well-off. Inspired Business Interiors Inc. emerged as an idea and tangible business because of my design intuition and Benjamin's business acumen.
