Residence Despins is a beautiful supportive housing and independent living core located in the heart of St. Boniface. We sit on 3.5 acres of land near the Red River and have easy access to many great amenities found in St. Boniface. Just steps from the property are the St. Boniface Cathedral and the St. Boniface General Hospital, and across the bridge is the Forks. We are also connected to many shops and restaurants that seniors can walk to. This makes the neighborhood unique as it is both vibrant and peaceful, and it’s ideal for evening walks. Two wings of the property provide two services to meet different needs. The traditional building offers supportive housing to people who require assistance with housekeeping, meals, and personal care. The new, modern building provides independent living for residents in good health who can care for themselves. Residents in independent living can eat in the dining room, where they can come together to socialize. Residents also come together in the chapel and in the games room.
