About Soul Gallery | Winnipeg Contemporary Art Gallery April 2011 opened Soul Gallery in the Exchange District, Winnipeg MB, Canada. In 2012, the move from the Exchange District to a residential neighborhood sparked the unique market concept "An Art Gallery at Home." Walsh converted 2000 square foot of a house to exhibit 33 artists' artwork from Manitoba and across Canada, as well as Belgium, U.K., and Switzerland. Soul Gallery has been in business in Winnipeg for almost eight years. Fine Art is known for its quality, curation, and critical success in promoting and selling original art. Twenty years of successful sales of original art by Julie Walsh, owner and curator, through Beautiful Spaces Design Mgt. Inc., were instrumental in the development of Soul Gallery. Her passion for original art, design, and beauty led her to open an art gallery. Walsh's design background informs her gallery approach and style, drawing on her experience in residential and commercial interior design, fine art, and custom framing.
