In 2004, Christie Golebiowski launched her career as a dog trainer, primarily teaching one-on-one at home. Christie expanded the business in September 2008, offering group classes for dog training. Christie now runs group classes, including life skills classes, classes on brain exercises and impulse control, and a doggie daycare business. Christie introduced boarding and Training in August 2014. Many Training Loyal Companions at facilities are positive reinforcement-based. Treats, verbal praise, toys, and pets help change dog behavior to encourage those behaviors. Therapy and dog behavior training are like a mix of every individual's first therapy session, first meeting with a doctor, and learning general life skills: adaptation is essential.
