Coastal Dance Inc

Coastal Dance Inc, founded by Director/Owner Micaela in 1994. Micaela studied at the Royal Winnipeg Ballet School and Banff Centre for the Arts. Graduated from Ecole Superieure de Danse du Quebec. She has studied dance in Germany, Toronto, Pennsylvania, and New York. Also, she has the Royal Academy of Dance Advanced 2 and Russian Advanced Certificate. Micaela also has experience with Les Grands Ballet Canadiens and Les Jeune Ballets de Quebec, performing at the Toronto Fringe Festival of Independent Artists, Halifax Live Art Festival, and Atlantic Fringe Festival. As a recipient of the Nova Scotia Talent Trust Awards, Banff Centre for the Arts scholarship, and Canada Council for the Arts Emerging Artist Award, Micaela is an excellent role model for young aspiring dancers. Micaela has been appointed Associate of The Royal Academy of Dance (ARAD) and is a Royal Academy of Dance registered teacher (RTS). Furthermore, Micaela holds certification in Progressive Ballet Technique and has a high success rate, with past students performing at top schools across the country and around the world, including The Juilliard School and Joffrey Ballet School in the United States, The Royal Winnipeg Ballet School and Toronto Dance Theatre in Canada, and Netherlands Dance Theatre II and Ballet B.C.
