Little Moe's Academy

All the way through competition level, we assist you in training your puppy in dog agility, rally, and obedience classes. All our instructors are certified in Operant Conditioning Behaviour Analysis, meaning you will receive tuition from our best skilled instructors with extensive experience. Be a Little MOE'S K9 Good Citizen. The first level of problem-solving class and basic manners will be offered. You will also learn to train your dog the traditional obedience commands, including sit, down stay, come, and heel. It is also a step further to teach handlers how to understand basic behavior in dogs. Is your dog happy, stressed, or scared? Are you able to read the signs? What will you do if they cause a problem? Jumping, barking, and biting are all things to be dealt with as this may become a problem. We will also do a meet-and-greet with other dogs and people to teach how your dog should behave, such as waiting at the front door or leaving it. Dog training will also teach the dog to go to their mat, leave the area, wait for you, and walk on a leash that is loose with all sorts of distractions. A book with information about the class and homework is included when you take this class.
