Brian MacKay Lyons is a fellow of the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada and the Royal Canadian Academy of Arts. He received an Honorary Fellowship from the American Institute of Architects in 2001. He became an International Fellow of the Royal Institute of British Architects in London. The company has been featured in over 700 global publications and 100 international exhibitions. Partners have been active in architecture education. Talbot has been an Adjunct Professor since 1997, Brian as a Full Professor at Dalhousie University for 37 years, and Talbot as the Professor of Practice from 2013. They have held 18 honorary academic chairs, visiting professorships, at leading universities globally, such as Harvard University, Washington University, St. Louis, and Yale University. More than 200 people have given public lectures on their work worldwide.
