NOVUS Glass Halifax Bayers Lake is part of Fix Network World, the international leader in the automotive aftermarket. NOVUS Glass, in accordance with its Repair First, Replace If Necessary (r) policy, repairs more glass. The process results in clear optics, structural integrity, and a more stable structure. The NOVUS story began in the United States in 1972. Three chipped windshields needed replacement. The glass was found to be broken. Frank Werner, a Dr., wanted to fix the break without replacing the entire windshield. He teamed up with Bill Wiele, a chemical engineer, to develop the best way to repair the windshield. Fritz Rothermel, an experienced glass technician, was a significant part of the team that developed the NOVUS repair process. Gerald Keinath bought the patent for the windshield repair process, DEVELOPED a business plan in 1972 and launched his dream of providing this unique process to people. It was initially a home-based operation. NOVUS was later renamed NOVUS (r) which means "new or groundbreaking" in Latin.
