Peel Manor

Peel Manor was established in 1898 as the County of Peel House of Industry and Refuge. It was managed by the keeper, the matron, and the physician. Initially, it accommodated ten men and two women. Peel and Halton Regions joined hands to administer the home in 1909. In 1952, Peel became the sole proprietor. Therefore, in 1960, the establishment was named Peel Manor.
