ER Feedback Customer feedback summary: 1. The staff is nice at an emergency but it’s way too much waiting. Just to see a doctor around 4 to 5 hour waiting.2. They knew I needed help and took me right in and that a week ago and I m now waiting for this blood clot to take hike so I can be scoped.3. Had an amazing trip to emerg. Everyone was great. By far the worst experience I have ever had. More than 10 hours waiting to see a doctor, and we are still waiting. The lack of urgency, empathy, and basic human decency from the staff is appalling. The conditions of the waiting area are unacceptable—overcrowded, uncomfortable, and clearly not fit for people who are sick and in distress. I used to think the comments saying that the healthcare system was one of the worst imaginable were exaggerated, but they were absolutely right. After experiencing this firsthand, it is clear that the stories and news reports about people dying in waiting rooms while trying to see a doctor were not sensationalism, but a reflection of a broken and failing system6. Everyone after us got observed and we were waiting. I don’t get it how they specify what kind of medical problem is required emergency. And how come the person is already having surgery and not able to sit down for so long can wait more than 6 hours and there’s no emergency for him. The nurse here in Triage waiting was like we can’t use the ambulatory services for an ongoing issue Whether its getting worse or what so ever, had such a bad chest pain still asking me to drive myself to hospital for first aid . I don’t understand why If our problem is getting worse we need to call the ambulance then why they are trying to say that we need to drive by ourselves or go to family doctor for ongoing medical problems. Really poor service especially the nurses here if you don’t care about someone’s well being please change your job.14. Got X ray. My ankel is injured at work. "Doctor" just said modified duties15. The doctor was great, but the nurse made me feel like an idiot. Ended up leaving without a needed prescription out of embarrassment. The dr patched me up though so can't complain too much.
