Ontario Barber Association is a group of professional and potential barbers who strive to promote the values, culture and concerns of the barbering industry in Ontario. Our membership dates back to 1947. However, currently, the Ministry does not acknowledge our classification as "BARBER". In 1991, the Province of Ontario proclaimed Barber trade has been banned and officially stated that presently, there is no trade of Barber licensed within Ontario. The OBA continues to be an industry stakeholder and advocate for its members. For the currently increasing number of institutions offering "Barber" training, this is despite the fact that the Province eliminated a practice area and curriculum for barbering in 1991. How are these hundreds of Barber programs teaching their students? We are demanding industry autonomy. It is uncertain whether all the current schools and barber academies offer hairstyling. These schools teach hairstyling hairdressing, and hairstylist certification but no barbers. Such manner of training lacks any scope of practice indicators or learning outcomes and, therefore, are more confusing rather than the advertisement. For any comments, we value all opinions, and you can always share them with our administrator. We currently have accreditation and certification. Our institution has also introduced training, workshops, and seminars. To the present day, we are still the only registered Barber Association in Ontario and the only Barber institution within the city. Join the movement today with thousands of current members who own or manage their own barber shops. For more details about the available memberships, please reach us through DM, email or phone. The Barber Centre has almost no available positions for now.

The reviews portray the barbershop as a welcoming, community-centered hub that values quality service and inclusivity. The barbers skillfully cater to distinct tastes and instructions, with Sean receiving numerous commendations for consistency and competence over the years. The business is regarded as an essential city treasured by many clients, including those who feel anxious about seeking haircuts. Sean, Touan, and their peers have been especially effective in accommodating clients who face unique challenges, such as cognitive disabilities. The contagious convivial atmosphere in the shop further enhances the client experience through meaningful interactions, regardless of race or background. Ultimately, the shop is highly recommended for all Hamilton residents due to its long-term, customer-based satisfaction. Customers are spoken of in a loving and kind manner.
