HA Dermal Filler - What Is It? There are a few HA forms; however, they are all a clear, gel-like substance. It is a substance that can be found in our body and is readily broken down and metabolized. The HA molecule is thirsty so when it is injected into the skin, it pulls on water. The product is normally used for some years (3-4) and then dissolves.
