The A.R. Kaufman Family YMCA 4-level Learn to Swim Program is geared towards familiarizing your swimmer with fundamental aquatic abilities. Their motor skills will improve as they swim, dive, kick, roll, and jump in water. Once they have progressed through all four stages of the program, they will be able to swim on their back and front.
Swimming is a skill that could save your life or the life of a loved one. All our swimming lessons are given by qualified instructors and teach valuable water safety skills to keep you safe. You may also discover a passion for swimming.
YMCA swimming lessons are so much more than only learning how to swim. All our swim lessons emphasize building confidence and establishing that success can be achieved through hard work and a supportive community, regardless of your age, from infants to seniors.
Swim lessons are included with your membership. Registration is required. You can start at any time throughout the year, provided we have space. Please see the schedule and visit any one of the health and wellness locations to register.
