About Brave Waves Swim School Brave Waves was started by Julia Surette and Jessica Surette in summer 2011. It was a summer project for high school students. We have grown to become the most respected swim school program in the area. We develop swimmers who are strong and capable in all kinds of water, for all reasons. Julia Surette, co-owner, deals with customer satisfaction, bookings, communications, day-to-day operations, other responsibilities. Our swimmers' and parents' opinions are what matter the most. Their satisfaction and success keeps us here. Julia graduated from St. John's College and McGill University. She is a competitive swimmer and entrepreneur. Her Master in Opera Performance is from The Royal Academy of Music, London. We are a place where swimmers become lifelong learners through personalized and caring instruction.
