4-H Canada

4-H Canada has been providing youth with positive leadership opportunities for over 100 years, making it one of Canada's most respected youth development organizations. 4-H Canada has almost 25,000 members and more than 7,700 volunteer leaders. We strive to help young Canadians “Learn to Do By Doing” in an inclusive, supportive and safe atmosphere. Our primary goal is to cultivate young leaders who are responsible, compassionate, and empowered to improve their local communities and the world in general. The 4-H Leadership Summit, also known as the Leadership Summit, is an annual event hosted by 4-H Canada that provides professionals and volunteer leaders with the opportunity to share their communities, learn from other experienced professionals, and gain fresh insights into a range of topics. The Summit's activities will include workshops, a keynote speaker, knowledge sharing, and networking. This upcoming event is scheduled for Ottawa, Ontario from April 1-3, 2023, and it will take place at the Heart of 4-H. A Pre-Summit on New Leader Fundamentals will precede the Leadership Summit 2023. This training opportunity is for youth leaders responsible for safety. They will finish their PYD and Leaders Development Pillars training and gain knowledge about youth-adult partnerships, the UN Sustainable Development Goals, and strength-based leadership. This will also help club leaders succeed in their role. Additional resources will be provided.
