BEING Studio

BEING is a dynamic collective of artists with disabilities. The studio, opened in 2002 as H’Art of Ottawa (Studio), has a history of supporting visual artists and writers with disabilities. All artists have the resources and tools to produce and market their creative work and visual arts at BEING. Artists are encouraged to become all they can be by achieving their own unique professional and creative goals. This could mean becoming more productive or making more money, or it could be about finding focus in their creative work. BEING Artists contribute to the city’s culture through regular exhibitions and collaborations with other artists.
