I contacted this firm relating to family matters, with three straightforward questions I was hoping to get a direct answer to. I was guided to Cynthia Squire after paying for an initial one-hour consultation. After explaining my situation and the three issues I was hoping to resolve I was reassured I had a strong case and Cynthia felt confident that this could be resolved. I paid a retainer fee and sent in the documents she requested. After reviewing the documents she still thought we had a strong case and requested additional documents. Weeks elapsed with no response and then it was suggested I go to mediation, where I strongly felt this was a waste of time and that we need the courts to intervene. After reviewing the additional documents, Cynthia said I could reduce child support payments by $.04 for the remaining 9 months. This was not an issue for me at all and she never addressed my initial 3 questions, I was looking for an update or any progress on the file, however, she requested I pay additional funds as my current retainer had exceeded the initial balance, I requested a detailed invoice and the remaining balance was paid in full. In my opinion they wanted to keep me on the hook for as long as they could to drag these issues on. A total waste of time and money, never addressed my issues, and could never get a straightforward answer.
