The instructors are warm, qualified, and have a lot of knowledge. Miss Becky Nootenboom, SBS's Artistic Director, Owner, and Founder, guides the organization. The school aims to provide a safe, exciting, and supportive environment for students to improve their dance skills.
Classes Offered
Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Musical Theatre, Lyrical/Contemporary, and Acro classes are all available at SBS Dance. Starz (preschool) and adult classes are available. The Recreational Program runs from September to May, with a year-end Recital in early June. Starz programs and adult classes run in 8-week sections. The award-winning Part Time and Full Time competitive teams, which travel within Ontario and the United States, are a highlight of SBS Dance. Dancers earn year-end scholarships and prizes, and the directors and choreographers win accolades for their work as well.
