An Excellent Opportunity to Learn Founded in South Windsor, Ontario, in 1979, the Academy Ste-Cecile Academy of Music is one of the biggest music schools. It is situated on 25 acres at 925 Cousineau Road, just between Highway 3 and Howard Ave. It is a 1957 low-profile buff brick building with pinwheel plans, designed in the Mid-Century Modernist type by renowned Prairie School architect Francis Barry Byrne, with a tower as the dominant feature (Diemer and Koenig, 1957). The facilities include twenty-three studios with recently upgraded and regulated upright and grand acoustic keyboards. It is accessible via all public transport. The Conservatory of Music offers a wide range of music instruction and enjoyment for students of all age groups and performance levels. Our musicians are dedicated to offering top-notch music education. Every Student Matters Our mission at the Academy Ste-Cecile Academy of Music is to give students comprehensive music, culture, and music education. We aim to help learners develop their taste in jazz, classical, Broadway, and other music genres. Many students will not become professional musicians. Still, their approach to learning music at school offers great learning experiences that can improve their skills, understanding of music, and appreciation of music. We give young people an opportunity to develop music, class, appreciation, character, and self-confidence. In our supportive and welcoming environment, we encounter music at our own pace and prepare us for our first performance experience. Our special program for adults allows you to learn a musical instrument and perform with ease within a few weeks of starting lessons. You will also get to enjoy the social aspect of it. Please call us to inquire. Our instructors of piano, violin, ukulele, guitar, recorder, flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, drum/percussion, and others offer one-on-one lessons and advanced theory, harmony, history, and recitals in our fine performance hall. We have a performance hall for rent, events, and showcases. The Academy's teachers possess a range of qualifications from Associate diplomas to Master's and doctorate degrees at the Royal Conservatory of Music and/or Conservatory Canada. Some of them are active performers. We are committed to providing quality instruction and helping students to enjoy all verbaliae musical styles. They have the opportunity to study the classical repertoire and understand different genres. Students' performances include recitals, festivals, and Royal Conservatory of Music certification preparation.
