The Lifesaving Society is an affiliate of LaSalle. Lifeguards and swimming instructors are Lifesaving Society members who have been trained in the High Five Principles of Healthy Child Development (PHCD) and Water Smart. Here are Lifesaving Society swimming classes offered this summer at the Vollmer Culture and Recreation Complex and LaSalle Outdoor Pool. If you're not sure which level your child needs, open swimming is the perfect time to ask the lifeguard for a test swim. Lifesaving Society recognizes associate members that offer training programs for the Society, raise money to support the Society's drowning prevention mission, and promote Water Smart public education. LaSalle was honoured to be named the Lifesaving Society's affiliate of the year. Spend quality time with your child in the pool, learning, socializing, and having fun.
