Pets N People

I am Wendy, the founder of Pets N People. I have always loved animals. I grew up in Woodstock and moved to Kentucky at 18 to follow my passion for horses. I was a standardbred racehorse trainer and owner for many years. My first job was as an equine veterinarian in 1997. I worked in all aspects of the practice, from ordering supplies and horse care to accounting receivables. Here, I learned to pay attention to the details and watch the pets’ daily lives for the changes that help me learn more about their health. In 2015, I returned to Woodstock to be near my family and founded Pets N People. I also stay current with changes and access pet behavior and health information on Pet Sitters International. I earned my certification in Pet First Aid from PSI.
