Robert Tremblay started his career at the Cosner gallery thirty years ago. With a specialty in Canadian and Quebec antiques, the company was then focused on buying and selling. Tremblay’s expertise in Canadian visual art developed over time. He was chairman and auctioneer of the Hotel des Ventes Universelles for many years, the ancestor of the Cosner Auction. The first auctions were in the Capitole de Quebec and then in Montreal at the Ritz-Carlton. For many years, the auctions were held in the ballrooms of the Windsor Hotel in Montreal. Cosner Art Gallery has expertise in Canadian art and International. They are the authority on Canadian art for sale and appraisal.
