Didn’t get in contact with me to tell me notary date had been postponed (found out when I showed up for appointment) and ended up having to pay for 2 moves. They’re not following up on any requests including repairing a counter that was damaged at installation that they just made worse trying to fix. They’re haven’t been cooperative with the condo board. Avoid doing business with them Delays of construction and 0 communication even after many follow-ups. They do not get back to you at all. Avoid Très déçu de mon expérience. Depuis mon emménagement il y a maintenant 10 mois, il manque toujours une tablette dans l’une des armoires de cuisine. Le problème a été signalé dès le départ, mais malgré plusieurs relances, rien n’a été réglé. Le service après-vente est extrêmement frustrant : communication difficile, suivis inexistants et impression constante d’être laissé de côté. Quand des correctifs sont finalement faits, ils sont bâclés et manquent clairement de rigueur. C’est vraiment dommage, car on s’attend à un minimum de professionnalisme et de sérieux après un achat aussi important. À ce jour, je ne peux malheureusement pas recommander. Horrible development corporation. They use cheap materials, they do lazy work, with bad finishing. They installed machinery in our garage without notice and damaged my bike. Tried contacting them to get paid for the damage and they don't respond. They did other work in the garage without notice and splattered plaster all over other co-owners bikes without a care in the world, leaving plastic pipes leaning on peoples bikes. In our kitchen, they never took into account the angle of the building and our drawer did not open, so instead of replacing the baseboard, they just shaved it down on an angle. They got paint all over the sprinklers and the cement ceiling when they painted. Door handles are already loose or falling off. The rooftop has a security door that has been broken off since we moved in December 2024 and still has not been fixed and re installed. We were sold the complex for "the view" with clear glass on the balconies and patios but ended up with frosted glass and have no view other than the sky when you are seated. The elevator keeps being out of service. I like to mentioned we moved in less than a year ago and it is just my wife and I, no children roughing the place up. Also it is a newly constructed building that was just about completed in 2024. For the price we paid, it is not worth it at all. Avoid at all cost any building built by Bretone. One of the worst customer service i've ever experienced. Project managers change every 3 months. It's impossible to get any type of answer for anything. They will charge you extra for errors done on their part and won't do anything about it. Can't wait to be done with my rental and never have to deal with anything concerning Bertone again in my life.
