CrossFit Montreal was founded in June 2006. It was Canada's third CrossFit affiliate and the 47th worldwide. CrossFit Montreal opened its doors in 2006 in a 1900 sq ft local. CrossFit Montreal was home to Quebec's first male athlete to compete in the CrossFit Games, California in 2009. Diagnosed in the same year, CrossFit Montreal expanded to an 8000 square feet facility. CrossFit Montreal was: The third female CrossFit athlete to be accepted to the CrossFit Games, California in 2011. CrossFit Montreal trains with functional movements, not machines. High-intensity workouts are completed in short periods. You won't find slow walking here. A coach designs and leads all workouts. A coach leads the client's progression with more athletic movements and better health.

The workouts have been brutal, but everyone was up for the challenge, and being with that group gave me the motivation to keep pushing and show up to class every day.
