When Lisa and Ken MacMurchy founded Brewed Awakening in March 2011, they shared a vision of a locally owned and operated coffee shop that offered the finest in quality. By 2015, Brewed Awakening had opened four Regina locations. A central kitchen was added in 2015, making it possible to meet the increased demand.
