The RKOC, or the Regina Kennel & Obedience Club, opening in 1916, is a non-profit organization dedicated to educating and training residents of Regina and its neighboring areas in the upkeep of purebred and mixed-breed dogs. Our training facility, located in the heart of Regina at 1826 McAra Street, offers Canine Obedience Training and a Puppy Socialization Program for canines six months and older. RKOC's training methods are continuously upgraded to ensure they are of the highest quality. The RKOC offers educational opportunities to breeders, pet owners, and persons interested in canine-related topics. We include presentations from local breeders and veterinarians in our internal program. To promote better canine care, the club holds the annual Canadian Kennel Club All Breed Championship, Rally Obedience, and Obedience Trials in August. Visit our Events page for more information. The RKOC members are proud that they own the training facility. The RKOC has a large, air-conditioned training facility with a comfortable meeting room upstairs and sufficient space for social events.
