Our Roots Are Planted in Home Remodeling. Sunview started as a residential remodeling company in 1980. The company's sales team and work crews traveled throughout Saskatchewan for many years. These professionals sold and installed vinyl siding and windows, built patios and deck enclosures, and erected solariums. Eventually, more people joined the sales team and installation crews. In 1988, Sunview was able to employ about 15 salespeople and 35 installation crews. Then a Calgary-based solarium maker asked us to buy his company in 1989. The Saskatchewan government started a program called a community bond to help Sunview raise more money. The company bought the solarium manufacturer and moved all of its equipment to Saskatoon. Sunview Solariums was born. We moved Sunview Windows to Regina in 2003. Our company has attracted good people and more customers by looking for new products.
