Even though Kingsfords had done our will, they immediately disregarded it and the trust that was set up and were going to put the property into my name solely. They also prepared incorrect financial information to send to HMRC, even though they had a hard copy of the accounts at the date of death. The total was right, but it was apportioned to the wrong account which could have caused problems for me in the future if HMRC checked accounts that they were not informed about. During what was a difficult time for me and my family, having to send paperwork back to have large errors corrected added to the difficulty and delayed probate.
