MAJ Law Ltd Reviews
Feedback: Tom was brilliant. Dealt with my speeding case really well. No frills or fuss.
Drug driving case handled by MAJ Law. MAJ was head and shoulders above all of the other firms I spoke with. Phoebe and Jack worked hard on my case and found some issues with the procedure. Dropped before trial. Over the moon!
AVOID MAJ LAW AT ALL COSTS!!!
Most of the reviews on MAJ are fake.
Paid them £3500, and they didn't even turn up to court on 15/08/25.
Wouldn't let me speak with my solicitor whenever I called.
I had to pay for a different solicitor, and MAJ won't refund my money they did nothing for.
I will remove this review if they reimburse me.
Drug driving case with a lot of evidence. Olivia took the time to go through everything properly and explain what actually mattered. Kai supported throughout and made sure nothing was missed. Barrister Paul was brilliant in court. Outcome was better than I thought possible
Really impressed. Osian handled my case and you can tell straight away he knows exactly what he’s doing. Drug driving case dropped before trial.
Thomas and Rebecca are legendary.. representing me in two different cases... always maintained I should say not guilty... always gave honest opinion on the situation.
The second case I thought it was over thanks to Rebecca and her expertise. I was able to sleep at night. She always maintained her and Thomas could successfully defend my case..
On the the 30th April 2026 at City London magistrates my case was dismissed.
I was able to keep my lifestyle. I will always have love and appreciate everything everyone did for me at maj law. If you have money and want a chance of successfully defending your case, contact them there soon. You do the better. Your chances are.....
Totting up ban hanging over me and I needed my licence for work. Phoebe and Ollie helped prepare everything and barrister Ashley delivered it perfectly. I kept my licence. Huge relief.
I contacted MAJ Law about a speeding offence that had turned into a potential disqualification due to the speed involved. At first I thought it would just be a case of turning up and explaining myself, but after speaking to them I realised how serious it actually was. Conor explained the process clearly and didn’t downplay anything. What stood out was how focused they were on the detail of the case, not just the general situation. There was proper preparation before the hearing, not just last minute advice. On the day, everything was presented confidently and clearly. The outcome was no disqualification, which I genuinely didn’t think was possible at the start.
I had a drug driving case and, like most people, assumed that because I had tested positive at the roadside, that was it. I nearly pleaded guilty early on. After speaking to MAJ Law, I realised how much more there was to it. They explained the difference between the roadside test and the actual evidential process, and started asking questions about things like procedure and timing which I hadn’t even considered. Phoebe handled my case and was excellent throughout. There was a lot of back and forth with evidence, and it was clear they were actually reviewing it properly rather than just going through the motions. The case was eventually dropped before trial. I genuinely think if I hadn’t instructed them, I would have ended up with a conviction.
I was a bit sceptical after speaking to a few firms who all seemed to say the same thing. MAJ Law were different. They actually asked questions about the evidence in my drug driving case instead of just giving generic advice. Phoebe handled things and the case ended up being dropped before trial.
Wasn’t convinced I needed legal help for a drink driving charge but after one call I realised how much I didn’t know. They handled everything and the outcome was much better than I expected.
I’ll be honest, when I first spoke to MAJ Law I had already had a couple of cheaper quotes elsewhere and nearly went with one of them. The difference was, those firms gave very surface level advice, whereas MAJ actually went into the detail of my drink driving case straight away. Jake picked up on issues with the evidence and procedure that no one else had even mentioned. He didn’t promise a miracle outcome, but he explained exactly what could be challenged and how. Throughout the case I was kept updated and never felt like I was being left in the dark, which was a big thing for me. On the day of court, everything had clearly been prepared properly. The outcome was significantly better than I expected and looking back, the fees were worth every penny.
Anyone in their right mind should think twice before hiring this firm.
I was accused of failing to provide a specimen in an alcohol related case. My first call with Tom was convincing and gave me confidence that my case could be thrown out. That was the only time I felt supported.
I pleaded not guilty due to a genuine medical reason, asthma backed by medical records. However, at my first hearing, I was told my case would be difficult because I had not attempted the breath test in custody. I was informed this could be used by the prosecution to argue there was no way to determine whether I would have failed. I had made this very clear from the very first call, before even agreeing to representation. At that point, it became obvious I was fighting a losing battle, heading toward a trial that would cost me thousands.
I had no choice but to change my plea to guilty. Despite paying a fixed fee of £4,995 plus VAT, I was later told by Rebecca that I would need to pay an additional £2,500 plus VAT for representation at the change of plea-sentencing hearing. That would have taken my total costs to nearly £10,000 just to plead GUILTY!
Communication was terrible. Calls were rarely returned, yet when payment was needed, the response was instant. At court, I was represented by different third party barristers who barely knew my case. I had to explain everything from scratch on each occasion.
The barrister on the day of my sentencing hearing seemed more concerned about her car parking timer running out than about my case. I was also asked to provide character references from professionals, family and friends. I gathered and submitted them, but they were never mentioned in court, despite me chasing this up beforehand.
Overall, a very expensive and disappointing experience. If you know you have little chance of winning, save your money and plead guilty from the start. I was never given a clear answer on my chances.
I contacted MAJ Law regarding a failure to identify the driver offence which I had no experience dealing with before. Thomas was very patient in explaining the legal position and the possible consequences. The team were responsive whenever I emailed or called and always kept me updated. Really impressed with the professionalism of the firm.
I used MAJ Law for a motoring case that went through Warrington Magistrates’ Court and the service was excellent. From the moment I instructed them they were organised, professional and easy to speak to. Jake represented me on the day and made the whole process much less intimidating than I expected. The preparation that went into the case was clear and I felt confident knowing they specialised in motoring law. Highly recommend.
