I recently worked with Matthew Bell on a Promotion Agreement in South Bucks after he was recommended to me through industry contacts. I would say Matthew has been the best solicitor I have worked with in my experience at SMEs and very good value compared to tier 1 city firms I'm used to from the plc world meaning he will definitely be one of my main go to solicitors. Matthew took the lead on drafting the agreement and his advice was extremely commercial and efficient throughout. He was a good advocate when dealing with the other side’s solicitors, had an excellent grasp of all relevant legal principles as well as their practical impacts and was always focused on the really key points. One of the most important things was that he was always available on the phone to keep me updated and always professional and friendly to deal with. Obviously, you don’t get the overnight turnaround times on drafting you will get from a city firm but his review of the other side’s comments was always done in very good time. Needless to say, with Matthew’s help we managed to enter an agreement that both sides were happy with! I would definitely recommend Matthew and hope to work with him again in the near future.
