About Little Morocco Skin & Body:
My name is Jennifer, and I have been a Therapist practicing in the Spa & Wellness Industry since 2003, when I established a career as an Esthetician. When I studied to become a Neuromuscular massage therapist at the Red Mountain Institute, my path evolved. The work that I do as a Massage Therapist is Myofascial Release Therapy. It is known as dry therapy, and it helps release tensions (fascial restriction). These are the restrictions that have been held in your body for a long time. Through this, the nervous system is able to calm down from over-activity. Since I had a back surgery at the age of 17, my experience working with sciatic issues is deep. Past my trainings in Myofascial Release Therapy as well as Neuromuscular Therapy, I have also worked in Orthopedics, Deep Tissue, Orthopedic Somatic Techniques, as well as Feldenkrais practice.
