Founded in 1999 by Bill and Susan Burns in Oro Valley, Desert King Windows offers replacement window installations. Bill, who sold and serviced replacement windows in southern Arkansas for nearly 30 years, retired to Tucson, but he soon craved a return to the industry. After a year of fishing and golf, he became bored and established Desert King Windows. Despite starting out as a small Arizona replacement window corporation, Bill has opened branches in Phoenix, Albuquerque, New Mexico, and El Paso, Texas. Bill and Susan worked hard to grow the company from a small $300,000 in sales in its first year to more than $10 million annually thanks to their strong sales history and good relationship with the manufacturer.
