I only had a strong need to pursue law. This urge led me to spend most of my adulthood as an attorney. My childhood was in Bagdad, a small mining town in northern Arizona. Bagdad’s population was less than 2000 when I was growing up. My parents were born there, and most of the town's residents were their childhood friends. We celebrated, cheered and consoled each other.
