Gideon Danilowitz was born in South Africa and migrated to America in his eleventh year. He earned his Master of Architecture and Bachelor of Science degrees from the University of Michigan. Twenty years of experience in commercial and residential architecture has made him a valuable asset to award-winning companies Paulett Taggart Architects, dU Architects, Venice, California and Roger Ferris + Partners, Westport, Connecticut, and Seaver Franks Architects, Tucson. Gideon now resides in Tucson and works across Arizona, California, and Arizona. Gideon is a licensed architect and member of the American Institute of Architects. He is a LEED AP, and he integrates passive and active systems to improve sustainability in his projects. Gideon was an intern at Chinati Foundation, Marfa Texas, before he became an architect. His experience at Chinati gave him a deep understanding of the relationship between structure and site, which informs his work today.
