Hello Divorce Review Analysis Feedback summary 1. Sales process misleading and un-refunded products Following the response from Hello Divorce, they clarified that yes, I did seek help from another provider. I have an un responded to messages to your team dating 1/22/25 where I specifically ask for guidance. We also had phone calls where we were mislead. At that point we chose to seek help elsewhere. You confirm you did not help in your response, and we had to seek help elsewhere, yet were still comfortable taking payment. I hope all viewers see that. 2. Misleading Sales Information I'm sorry but this company at best is misleading and at worst is a scam. It was my understanding that your company could check if my papers have been filed with the courts. As I began filling out the forms, I called your customer service to verify this fact. They told me I would have to upgrade to the plus service to check if my papers have been filed with the court. On another day, I watched a divorce webinar on your website and the employee mentioned that they could check if papers have been filed with the courts. Later that day the customer service employee emailed me and confirmed that I would not have to be the plus service to check if my papers have been filed with the court. After I completed all the forms, Hello Divorce informed me that they could not check if my papers have been filed with the courts. This is very strange to me because during the sales process they told me I would not need to buy any additional products. The salesperson followed up with an email confirming this. Ager an additional call, it became clear I would have to purchase additional products. When I asked for a refund, they were unwilling to process it because we had gone to another provider and finished the divorce. The customer service rep specifically stated that because we had filed previously they would not be able to help. I don't understand how us using another provider should impact their ability to refund a product that was misleading. Following the response from Hello Divorce, they clarified that yes, I did seek help from another provider. What appears to be a draft website also did not provide accurate information. After uploading a completed divorce petition, I reached out to see if official instructions from a court were available, and the Hello Divorce representative on the online chat told me yes, they had official instructions. When I clicked on the link, it took me to a page saying instructions were currently being loaded and to check back later. I expressed my frustration and the representative sent me a link to “official instructions” which were, in fact, only a sample petition for divorce. Furthermore, not all parts of the petition actually needed to be completed (although the PDF did not indicate that) and the representative did not have this information. Reply to their response.
