Her reaction is one that makes me smile and think back. Even after working in hospitality for 10 years I still felt a desire to turn my dream of massage therapy into reality. As a full-time general manager of a hotel owned by a corporation, I also enrolled in the massage therapy program to become a licensed massage practitioner. About a year was needed to make the switch from general manager to massage therapist. It then took another year-and-ahalf to open Shanti Healing in Southern California on 8th May 2015. My business was running for about 2.5 years when my husband and I got married, which led me to relocate to the Bay Area.
