She is making this process easier for my partner and me with her understanding and non-judgmental approach. We would all recommend this law firm for what we consider to be a difficult and personal endeavor. I want to give her and her staff the credit they deserve for their efforts. I served as opposing counsel in a divorce case of hers some time ago. AFACT, I wrote a check for over $5000 to pay her legal fees related to the case. I am now writing this review as a paying customer. My wife walked away without warning. While we both disagree with her reasons for leaving, we decided to end our relationship. The first two months of our separation were amicable and open. A year after our separation, our divorce was finalized. We are no longer on speaking terms and are moving forward in legal, personal, and professional realms with animosity. This law firm and my wife's counsel may have contributed to this. I have no way of knowing what portion of the blame lies on her or my wife. Our marriage was beautiful for six and a half years, but all good memories have been replaced by bitterness and hostility. She fought for the maximum settlement from me, which was about 66% of the marital funds I gave my wife during separation (we never had children together). She also lost me full custody of my dog, who was my companion for four years. Based on my interactions with her, I was never impressed. Raquel did not help achieve an amicable settlement. She often argued that she was required to fight for her client, disregarding the fact that her client might feel some loyalty towards someone she spent half a decade with. If you want to take your ex to the cleaners, she might be the person for you. If you want a good relationship with the family you once loved, she may not be the answer.
