Customer Testimonials: 1. This branch has gone downhill. We used to have a designated area where you would check in, stand in line, and pay for your tags. You would be in and out in 15 minutes max. Now we check in, and it takes an hour to get seen. It's like being at the DMV with no line control, all chaos. I am considering canceling my memberships! What genius was responsible for making this change?2. On Sunday, after leaving church, we noticed the front right tire losing air. We were close to the AAA. We pulled over, and the tire went completely flat within minutes. I immediately called the AAA and gave the situation brief. I requested a flatbed tow truck since my vehicle was right there to get a ride to the nearest tire shop. The AAA agent repeated all my details and assured a flatbed was dispatched through AM PM Towing. I received a text informing me the truck would arrive around 8:52 AM (so an hour's wait). This was followed by a text message that the truck would arrive at 8:20 AM, which was great. As it got to 8:20, I noticed a regular tow truck that looked lost circling the area. I got a text from the driver stating they were trying to locate me. I was trying to think why it was not a flatbed as I had requested. The tow truck that appeared wasn't a flatbed. It was a standard tow truck. I waited for all that time, and the AAA confirmed a flatbed was coming. I was frustrated. I immediately called the AAA. The agent said they would submit another request and call me back with an updated arrival time for a flatbed. No follow-up call came, and I had to call back after some time since this has taken more than two hours and I have a lot to do. I called my son to bring a portable air compressor since we were close enough to home to attempt putting air. He arrived, we put air, and I drove home. Later when I was home, I received a message that the flatbed was on the way. I felt very bad and had to call back and ensure that the second request is canceled and talk to the supervisor. The supervisor said that a flatbed was ordered and AM PM Towing “got it wrong.” With all due respect I requested the service from AAA. It is AAA’s responsibility to ensure the right equipment was dispatched. I do not care about the contractor. I care about the service provided to me as a paying member of over 20 years. What disappointed me most was not the mistake that happened, but the feeling I got from the customer service guy and the supervisor. It felt like this issue would be brushed aside and no follow-up would be done. This is very frustrating, especially after 20+ years of loyalty. This was not an issue of having a bad day; this was a service and accountability issue from AAA. So my question to you AAA is on a scale of 1 to 10, how would you rate yourself on this service? And after this experience, how likely do you think I am to renew my membership? Loyalty should matter. Reliability should matter. Accountability should matter. Got here at 8:55 and there was already a line forming for DMV services. I thought it was going to take a long time but as soon as the doors open there was a friendly worker greeting us and answering any questions I had. The title transfer took about an hour, but it could’ve been less if I didn’t mess up on my end. I had two different reps help me out. They were both extremely helpful and patient. I called 2 hours before they closed and they left me on hold the first time for 12 minutes and then they clicked on me. I called again, waited another 10 minutes and boom! They clicked again! Very unprofessional!8. There are clear signs of which line to get into for DMV services or payments for insurance and membership. Everyone, even those in the wrong line, was taken before me. What is the point of having different lines?9. So this star is for Dennis the only reason why I gave 1 star instead of none only because I felt like I went to the DMV and I didn’t understand what a pride flag had to do with insurance lol but okay and the guys had more ear piercings than the girls it looked n felt very different to Club DMV.10. Excellent customer service from David. Branch member specialist. Downey office.11. A bit crowded, but they always manage to provide excellent service.12. It's. Best to go to the DMV. Has lesser waiting times. Everyone, there looked miserable. What's the point of this membership? Same crappy attitude as DMV13. The Auto Club has always been there when I needed them and has never let me down!14. One of the slower and more unfriendly locations in the area. Also, seems more busy than other local locations at certain times. I guess that’s usual. But idk it feels like a dang DMV in this place (in the worst ways possible). This is a membership business and should not feel like a government agency why would I rather go to a DMV where I know there is no service compared to a private business.15.
