My sister When they removed the old filling, they figured she needed a root canal. Their root canal specialist doesn't accept her insurance. They left her with a tooth without a filling. She was told to call Lily for her to assist her in locating an in-network provider or submitting billing support to her insurer to minimize her out-of-pocket cost. The only option she gave her was a payment plan. She was rude to her instead by telling her she wasn't going to do her job for her. Lily has no business working with people. She lacks empathy. She doesn't recognize their mistake. It would've been different if they told her about the possibility for a root canal. They should also tell their patients that in the case of a root canal, their root canal specialist doesn't accept all the insurances they accept. That's the only reason my sister went here to begin with because they accept her insurance. Very unprofessional all around! + iMessage I had crowns made twice because the first ones were really bad. After the second time, they sent me home with a bad pain and a crowns too high, that I couldn't eat solids for five days. I retuned and the pain was constantly still. I finally went to another dentist and they found many issues with the crowns. I have to pay thousands of dollars for everything!!! I wouldn't return ever to the Downey Modern Dentist!!!! I initially came to this office because a filling from a previous dentist had fallen out and needed to be replaced. During my consultation, a staff member told me I had cavities. I asked Dr. Joseph Cheung to show me where they were on my X-rays. After reviewing them, he told me I actually had no cavities and that I only needed the filling replaced. I specifically confirmed with him that I had zero cavities, and he agreed. When I returned for treatment,...
