Gallegos Law Firm Review Highlights: Catholic Church's Canonization Process The 'Promoter of the Faith' (Latin: promotor fidei) was a canon lawyer employed by Church authorities to dispute the canonization of a candidate in the canonization process utilized by the Catholic Church.
