ABOUT   Services Excellence Summary

FOLD Gallery is home to Los Angeles artists and makers who are a part of the community. Its shelves are filled with such a variety of unique treasures that it is often mistaken as an antique store at first glance. FOLD Gallery is themed around the Los Angeles community it celebrates. It is extraordinary to see such a range of people in one place who all live and work in this area. Their diverse activities are reflected in the diversity of current and past artwork in the gallery. Local artists and designers are our focus. Our artists are all from Los Angeles, living, working, and enjoying their lives here. They are part of our city, and it is reflected in the creative work they produce. The establishment features a "Handmade in LA" section. It is the section of the gallery devoted to the Los Angeles designer and artist. We like to show our support and appreciation for the small businesses and individuals that put their heart and content into creating unique and handmade. It is nice to see who made the picture and not just assume it was created by a robot that runs a factory of prints. Our gallery is a fantastic tribute to the array of artists who live in our area and cuts out the middleman that is the printmaker. Our gallery is dedicated to the amazing range of artists and proudly showcase the work of artisans and independent businesses. The shop's section for local artists and small businesses is an amazing part that honors those who work hard. These companies make up a large portion of the local businesses in Los Angeles, California. FOLD also has an antique and vintage section. FOLD specializes in the following: vintage typewriters, including the rare Smith Corona Silent and a Royal KMM from the 1940s, unique cameras, including a mint condition Kodak Brownie Hawkeye, and other photographic equipment, maps that were used by World War II pilots, radios from the pre-television era, barware, navigation and nautical equipment, and the items that were used in post-war Los Angeles. These items are all unique and no longer in production, and you'll occasionally find something that works better than its modern equivalent. If you need something special, we will go out on the hunt to find it.
