Axis Gallery

Axis Gallery is a 1800-square-foot artist-run space located within the Verge Center for the Arts Building at 625 S Street in Sacramento. Its two galleries remind of its section in two divisions. One is the main axis gallery and the East Room member gallery. The flat file is also available in axis gallery. The cooperative was founded in 1985 and has a long history of presenting contemporary art in every media. The members of Axis Gallery are both established and emerging artists who exhibit locally, nationally, and internationally. This is considered as a great opportunity for Sacramento residents to exhibit at an alternative space. Members are free to create and explore works in a non-sales environment. Axis Gallery’s selection and quality standards are high. Its artist members can be considered equal partners. They support the gallery by selling artworks, contributing labor, and paying monthly dues.
