Frustrated by the limitations of the tutoring method used by my previous company, I started SD Higher Scores. I first worked with high school students in chemistry and math classes. Later, I added SAT and ACT, and GRE prep to my tutoring services. I have since moved to Carmel Valley. My neighbors in the Rancho Santa Fe and Encinitas call me Latte Larry. Most students live in Rancho Santa Fe. I tutor students using Skype from my office in Carmel Valley. It is easy for students from Rancho Santa Fe and Encinitas to visit me because it is just 20 minutes away. You can also find me anytime because there is no traffic near my office. Students and their parents find me because they want to get the best test scores and reduce the stress and fear involved in taking the SAT or ACT. I am passionate about helping students and their families navigate the process of taking the test and increase their scores. I love to see students learn to solve challenging problems and answer difficult questions with dedication, planning, and hard work. It is great to teach my students and their families these skills and show them that it is possible to learn and become better people.
