Stefanie Bales is an accomplished artist, muralist, boutique gallery owner, and award-winning creative. Stefanie Bales Fine Arts encompasses all these aspects of her multifaceted brand. Launched by Stefanie in September 2018, Stefanie Bales Fine Arts has become an iconic downtown San Diego destination. Stefanie has over a decade of teaching experience and a substantial local client base, including the San Diego Museum of Art and Estancia La Jolla Hotel. SBFA was awarded "Best Art Gallery" by Modern Luxury, the San Diego Reader, and was a finalist in the San Diego Downtown Partnership's "Create the Tomorrow Awards". She was nominated for Small Business of the Year and Cultural Vitality. Stefanie collaborates with national and international brands such as Geometry House and Art Firm. Her work has been published extensively and most recently in Business Insider. Stefanie hails from Philadelphia, PA, and moved to San Diego after receiving a BFA in painting cum laude. She spent a year at an Art Deco firm before earning her Masters in Educational Psychology and Art Therapy. Working with students who had neuropsychological disorders inspired her to explore visual consciousness. This is visible in her recent collections. Stefanie works as a full-time artist and engages in local creativity. Stefanie supports women entrepreneurs, mentors other artists, and continues to teach. She donates her time and work to non-profits and charitable organizations, including the Surfrider Foundation and WildCoast.
