JCCSF's fitness center is a top fitness and aquatics facility in San Francisco that offers personal training, group classes, and state-of-the-art equipment. The JCCSF Swim School serves all levels of swimmers. All children, regardless of their skill level, can move up the levels of our swim school to meet their swimming goals. Swimmers will learn the strokes and techniques needed to become proficient swimmers. We have various levels and offer group and private lessons. To improve the swimming experience for our swimmers, we received a grant from Sandy and Linda Gallanter. This will include “a new dehumidifier system, and other improvements that will make the swim experience more comfortable and enjoyable for our swimmers,” said Recreation Manager Michael Mason. “These improvements will help with the air quality, the ventilation, and the overall experience of coming swimming here at the JCCSF.” Parents and babies learn to be more comfortable underwater and in the water together. Together, parents and babies learn to float independently and move through the water safely. Through songs, games, and toys, parents and babies both learn these techniques.
